Karnivool & Dead Letter Circus announce “Polymorphism” Tour

Karnivool have announced the “Polymorphism” tour 2014, teaming up with their old friends AND sparring partners Dead Letter Circus to tread the boards, visit some old hunting grounds and move some air in the best way possible, soaring guitars and a giant bottom end.

It speaks volumes of each bands journey that as this tour is announced, Karnivool are playing a sold out show in Munich while Dead Letter Circus are playing a sold out show in San Francisco. Both bands released albums worldwide this year which debuted high on the ARIA charts (1 And 2 respectively). Both have been touring the world a lot of this year without enough time spent at home with friends and family. This tour is all about friends and family, as well as fans as the question most asked of both bands is “when are you dudes going to tour together again?”

BODYJAR – The ‘Role Model’ Tour – October/November 2013

Australia’s much-loved pop punk pioneers BODYJAR are readying their ripping new tunes from new album ‘Role Model’ to hit the road to make Dad jokes all over the country. From what we hear, they’ve been digging through the (J)archives to piece together an extra exciting set comprised of melodic, singalong, energetic punk rock gems both old and new. Catch ’em showing local mates Luca Brasi and The Sinking Teeth how it’s done on the first Bodyjar headline tour in yonks and yonks.

“Role Model is impossibly fun, and what could’ve been nothing more than a run around the park for old times’ sake instead stands as one of Bodyjar’s best albums”. – The Music

Words and Pics: Ben Hosking – www.hoskingindustries.com.au for Life Music Media

Having witnessed Poland’s blackened death metal legends Behemoth slay everyone in attendance on their Sydney date of their last Australian tour in 2010, you can bet we were more than a little excited when we learned of their upcoming 2013 tour dates. Fast forward to Saturday October 26 and we arrive at Sydney Uni’s Manning Bar to find that several hundred other excited Behemoth fans were already lining out the door and around the corner.

First up on tonight’s three-band line-up is Sydney’s own Exekute; a young death metal group that clearly has a bright future if tonight’s tight performance is anything to go by. While lacking a little in terms of stage presence, the band more than makes up for the short fall with a barrage of rapid fire, brutal riffs and plenty in the audience seem already very familiar with their tunes.

Blue Rock Tours presents the Australian return of acclaimed singer songwriter John Grant, for the first time with his full band.

In 2011 John Grant enchanted Australian audiences with a clutch of intimate showcase performances that announced the arrival to our shores of a true and unique musical talent. Playing music from his then Mojo Album of the Year award winning debut Queen Of Denmark, Grant disarmed audiences with his brutal honesty and sublime musical ability. John Grant exposes every vulnerability he has in his live shows. The deep, almost unsettling, emotional connection he can make is why people keep coming back to him.
