Bluesfest Byron Bay, Australia’s multi award winning 5 Day Festival, held at its permanent home, the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm, north of Byron Bay, reveals the 6th round of artists to perform at its 25th Anniversary, over the Easter long weekend 17 – 21 April, 2014 and news from the Bluesfest office is, that this is NOT the final one!
True to Bluesfest form, there will be more announcements before the Easter extravaganza begins in just 3 months’ time!
This latest announcement focuses on our home-grown Australian Stars with a perfect mix of excellent International artists, whilst the 2014 line-up just keeps on growing, bringing out all the magnificent wonders of Bluesfest.

The announcement of The Melbourne Zoo Twilights 2014 program towards the end of last year received a red hot response from music lovers with three shows selling out well ahead of the start of the season. Tickets to shows featuring Jessica Mauboy, Xavier Rudd and James Reyne and Daryl Braithwaite sold out in record time, with other shows selling fast.

The John Butler Trio recently completed a quick stint of thrilling performances in capital cities selling out small capacity iconic venues around the country as they introduced new tunes and their new drummer, Grant Gerathy. With the trio’s sixth studio album ‘Flesh & Blood’ locked and loaded for a February 7th global release the band are pleased to announce a national tour, their first extensive Australian tour in 4 years. It’s been one hell of a year for The Dead Daisies – with the release of their debut single ‘Lock ‘N’ Load’ featuring Slash, a successful tour of the USA as part of the 4th Annual Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival, and multiple shows sharing the stage with the rock legends ZZ Top, Aerosmith, Jane’s Addiction, Alice in Chains, and Coheed & Cambria. This time last year the delightful Hat Fitz and Cara were riding high.
