Jeff Martin and Sarah McLeod announce ‘Man The Life Boats’ tour
A musical coupling of tremendous proportions, The Tea Party’s Jeff Martin, and Sarah McLeod announce the ‘Man The Life Boats’ tour, with a run of exclusive dates early 2014.
The pair met in late 2012 and performed a one-off acoustic set that ignited the spark to record together when they both had time outside of their own projects. Fast-forward 12 months later, and the pair are currently in Martin’s Byron Bay studio and hinting at a possible album collaboration.

The wildly successful El Grande Festival returns for a 3rd go-round in Central Queensland, this time at Bojangles Nightclub, Gladstone. Dead Letter Circus heads up a MASSIVE day of rock, roots and hip hop presented by HotFM CQ, Southern Cross Ten and The Observer.
The change in venue for the festival was required after the previous two events sold out and required a larger space to accommodate Dead Letter Circus and the 25 acts playing on the day. The Never Ever announce “In Or Out” – The Cinema Tour
The Never Ever will host a unique live experience to celebrate the release of their new single “In Or Out” (available digitally with a bonus acoustic version of the track on January __ 2014) which is featured on the band’s third EP “Ghosts and Ghouls” (out now).
“These shows are going to be really special,” says singer Dylan Nash.
The five-piece who hail from Sydney’s Sutherland Shire will launch the single in centrally located movie cinemas in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne on February 21, 22 and 23 respectively. The launch will combine an intimate acoustic performance with the exclusive big screen premiere of the band’s music video. After flexing their weary music muscles during a triumphant December Ashes series, The Gin Club’s tenth anniversary year run fest shows no sign of letting up. They are back on the road in February and March for another run of shows about the place, and they’ll be giving fans a sneak preview of their upcoming fifth album, tentatively entitled “All Of Your Bases Are Now Under Our Control”. Travel through the career of American rock royalty, ED KOWALCZYK, as he pays tribute to the hits of his past – as the driving force of multi-platinum band Live – through to his solo career including the forthcoming album ‘The Flood and The Mercy’ featuring current single ‘Seven’ (out September 27 through Sony Music Australia).
“I wrote the songs for ‘Throwing Copper’ in a state of mind that was at once empty of any and all expectations, yet full of the potential and possibility that marked the ‘90s music scene in America. Being just 22-years-old at the time, I was literally learning to write songs as I went, feeling and fledgling my way into this probability cloud that had formed around bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Smashing Pumpkins.
