The band has had a turbulent yet triumphant year alongside this pandemic. The band has seen multiple line-up changes with lead singer-songwriters Kahlia & Lawson now standing as the only original members.
The name SUNFLOWER was a nickname Kahlia adopted, which was later found out to be the flower of a ‘Leo’ – her star-sign (for those who believe that sort of hippy dippy thing).
Sam Woods (bassist) can’t smell.
The band came together almost accidentally with what started as a casual fusion of passions and gradually developed into a full-blown creative entity.
The band has seen two sets of siblings during its time. Currently brothers Luke and Sam Woods make up the rhythm section of SUNFLOWER.
