THE MARK OF CAIN “Battlesick” 30th Anniversary National Tour – October 2019

The Mark Of Cain return to the stage this October performing their debut album Battlesick in its entirety.

Originally released in 1989 via indie Adelaide label Dominator Battlesick sounded like no Australian album before it or since. Tracks like Wake Up, Dead Man’s Mail, The Setback, Call in Anger and the title track addressed the fear of dreams, the threat of death, anger over disappointment and personal setbacks; not exactly the subject matter of an era when Kylie Minogue was queen and Ratcat were primed to become the pinnacle of the underground. It did not chart and in Australia it was barely heard out of Adelaide however, it’s resonance did find an audience even if that audience had to come from places farer rather than near.

THE MARK OF CAIN | Adelaide show added due to overwhelming demand!

cain*** TOUR UPDATE ***
Due to overwhelming demand The Mark Of Cain have now added an Adelaide show as a part of their 2014 national tour in support of new single Grey-11 (featuring Henry Rollins) and taken from the album Songs Of The Third & Fifth.

The local three-piece will perform at The Gov on December 5th with Adelaide-via-Melbourne two-piece King Of The North in support. Tickets for The Gov show will go on-sale this Friday 12th September.

And as it was for the March 2012 Australian tour and the exclusive Adelaide only dates in September 2013, The Mark Of Cain will once again comprise brothers John & Kim Scott with boy-wonder Eli Green behind the drum kit – recording skinsman John Stanier being unavailable for these shows.
