Slip-On Stereo release ‘So Long Gravity’ EP + Tour Dates

Funky and fresh Brisbane-based 4-piece band, Slip-On Stereo has been considered the “band to see” since breaking onto the scene in early 2012.

Self-described as “summer sounds”, their style is a unique blend of Pop, Funk, RnB, Reggae & anything else they feel inspired to throw in the mix. Teaming up with producer Anthony Lycenko, Slip-On Stereo released their single Mercury a couple of months ago and are now ready to release the full EP this November.

Zeek Power and Clint Wallace lead the band vocally while also holding the rhythm on guitars. Clint is a familiar face as ex-bass guitarist of well-known Rockhampton-born band, Busby Marou; and Zeek is the latest YouTube sensation with his solo work under his name “Zeek Power”. Former Rookie band members, bass guitarist Phil Moore and drummer Ash Moore, hold the heartbeat of the band together.

2013 has been a big year for the Slip-On Stereo boys showcasing at events across the country such as the Virgin home party and MTV party at the Big Sound Music Conference in Brisbane and the Australasian World Music Expo in Melbourne, as well as a full calendar of gigs including supports for artists such as Busby Marou, Sheppard and The Kin.

You can catch the band at their EP launch shows on the following dates-

14th November 2013 – AWME Showcase, Melbourne
5th December 2013 – The Joynt, Brisbane
6th December 2013 – The Sol Bar, Sunshine Coast
21st December 2013 – The Beresford, Sydney
