In support of new single ‘Yours’, LANKS has also revealed a ‘Yours’ x-collab visual accompaniment video created by visual artist Nancy Liang.
This is the sixth x-collab visual collaboration from LANKS’ debut album ‘twentyseven’ which has seen him work with various illustrators, composers, photographers and videographers in interpreting his album in various visual formats.
The release of ‘Yours’ follows on from some impressive recent LANKS collaborations, having featured on Odette’s ‘Onyx’ and Tia’s Gostelow’s ‘Strangers’.
LANKS released his debut album twentyseven earlier this year via THAA Records. twentyseven details LANKS’ struggles as a musician and explores his personal relationships surrounding his life and career. The title comes from LANKS grappling with his long-standing idea that 27 was the milestone for success, given many heroes had passed away at this age and already achieved a lasting legacy. Throughout the album, he shifts from a solitary and introspective view of life, into an embrace of the people around him.
LANKS is currently on a writing trip in the US working on his second album before heading home for his Australian National Album Tour which is selling fast.
