Australia’s favourite stars of entertainment, Jess Mauboy, George Calombaris and Jason Coleman, celebrate iSelect Fashion+Aid 2010
The third annual iSelect Fashion+Aid charity event will return to the Palladium Ballroom at Crown Entertainment Complex on Saturday 11 September 2010. In support of Mission Australia, iSelect Fashion+Aid will showcase an exciting fusion of food, fashion and entertainment featuring some of our hottest talents. |
Hosted by Jason Coleman and Kelly Landry, guests will be treated to an adrenalin pumping show including a fashion parade, dance performances and an exclusive song performance by Australia’s hottest act, Jess Mauboy.
iSelect Fashion+Aid ambassador, George Calombaris from The Press Club and judge on MasterChef Australia, will join culinary forces with Maha chef, Shane Delia and renowned chef Philippe Mouchel, of soon to launch venue PM24, to design a mouth watering three-course meal.
Choreographed by Jason Law, the high energy fashion parade will feature designers including Jason Grech, Black Betty, Mina +Katusha, Stacey Christie, Lisa Brown and Kooey Swimwear.
Pop up performances throughout the night will include new Australian dance band, Collective and singing sensation Jess Mauboy, will perform a 30 minute show featuring her chart topping hits as well as tracks from the new album.
Fashion commentator Melissa Hoyer will host the red carpet as iSelect Fashion+Aid ambassadors strut their stuff including; Brad and Pia Miller, Kasia Z and Buddy Franklin, Matthew Richardson, Amber Renae, Wayne Carey and George Calombaris among other celebrity guests.
Throughout the night the audience will have a chance to bid on exclusive auction items to raise money for Mission Australia including; an exclusive holiday in Turtle Island worth $22,000; a cooking lesson with George Calombaris and a private dinner; a complete wine cellar from Peccavi Wine; and a car from FIAT with 1 year comprehensive car insurance from iSelect.

Mission Australia is committed to eliminating disadvantage and creating a fairer Australia. Part of the funds raised from this year’s event will be directed towards our innovative fashion centre located in Dandenong, Stitch in Time, which will support local disadvantaged and disengaged young people, many of which are migrants and refugees from Horn of Africa.
