From crooning pop to retro-cool rock, multi-platinum seller Chris Isaak is a man of many personas – a gifted musician and vocalist, host of his own TV show, acclaimed actor, a consummate showman and charismatic all-round great guy!

Isaak is also a platinum-selling artist with nine extraordinary albums, twelve singles and two Grammy nominations under his belt.


His legendary shows with long-time band Silvertone have entertained legions of loyal fans for more than two decades. Known for his wonderfully-entertaining stage presence, the charismatic performer and his band of 20 years is recognised by such classics such as ‘Wicked Game’, ‘Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing’, ‘Somebody’s Crying’ and ‘Blue Hotel.’

The San Franciscan native has just released a brand new album “Live In Australia” (Universal Music), recorded during his Best Of Tour in 2006.

Isaak’s shows are much talked about affairs – love affairs, which draw audiences back again and again. “Live In Australia” is no less intoxicating with its mix of humour, good times and great songs. It shows an artist at the top of his game and is a great showcase for what audiences experience at his not-to-be missed live concerts! .

“I have a tremendous commitment to having the show go well and I think about what I am going to do on stage,” Chris says. “I’ve been so lucky because the guys I play with are not only great musicians but they enjoy playing live. We’re all good friends and it shows on stage. You can’t fake that. I tell my band ‘you have come to party!”

Chris Isaak has also appeared in numerous films, mostly playing minor cameo roles, though he starred with Keanu Reeves and Bridget Fonda in the 1993 Bernardo Bertolucci-directed ‘Little Buddha’, and also played a major role in David Lynch’s ‘Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me’ (1992). Other motion pictures include ‘Married to the Mob’ (1988), ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ (1991), ‘That Thing You Do!’ (1996), and ‘A Dirty Shame’ (2004). He also guest-starred on the Super Bowl Sunday (1996) edition of the television sitcom Friends and on the HBO miniseries, From the Earth to the Moon (HBO).

Chris is also an amateur boxer, avid surfer and a former Golden Gloves champion.
