1. First thing would be that I am doing an Australian tour in January! Because if you didn’t know that, and would like to know that, I would love to see you down at any of the shows haha!
2. Since I finished high school, I have worked mainly as a carpenter both in Australia and Sweden. It’s pretty similar in both countries although in Australia your boss will maybe buy a Friday arvo carton for the team, whereas in Sweden you are more likely to be sharing a smörgåstårta which is basically a salmon, white bread, cheese and cream cake. Both are good I guess, but I definitely prefer the Friday arvo beer’s haha!
3. I am currently living in Gothenburg, Sweden, which is such a great city! Gothenburg also won the greenest city in the world! There are so many forests and parks even though the city also has a city vibe. And the buses… well they run on recycled rubbish!!
4. My Grandfather who is one of my biggest inspirations taught me the cornet from a young age. I grew up playing in different brass bands with him, sometimes he was also playing in the band or other times acted as the conductor. It wasn’t until I was in my early twenties I began to mess around on guitar and only over the past three years I began singing and song writing. Many of my friends in Australia are amazing musicians, such as Matt Gresham and Michael Triscari, so it has been awesome to get some tips and tricks from them over the past few years!
5. I am co-founder of the sustainable clothing company True Threads. We only work with 100% organic and ethical made materials! Apart from t-shirts and hoodies we just released organic socks and reusable straws. If it sounds like something you’re into check us out at truethreads.se !
