The rapper’s legendary live shows are are more party than any typical rock show leaving crowds in a heaving, sweaty, drunken mess by the time the man has left the stage. It was this party that Australian audiences were treated to on Mickey’s last visit and this time he is amping up the good-time vibes with a fantastic line-up of local guests including Kid Mac and Evil Eddie joining the depraved celebration. Mickey Avalon is back with another sordid tale of rock ‘n’ roll debauchery in the form of a brand new EP entitled I Get Even. The EP will be released digitally on August 6th via Mickey Avalon’s own label Rag Top Records and feature five previously unreleased tracks. The EP captures the energy of Avalon’s legendary live show and mixes it with the raw honesty and intense rhymes that have become a trademark of his unique sound. Avalon will head out onto the road in support of the effort with a full tour across the country, as well as headlining tours of Australia and Canada before the end of the year.
“My new EP is some of the best work I’ve ever done. We’re about to shoot a video for the song Hollywood with a sick director, who came up with an amazing treatment for the visuals,” said Avalon. “It’s nice being home and recording, but I’m definitely ready to hit the road again. I’ll be touring all around the States, Canada, and then head to Australia. I hope everyone digs the tunes because there will be more coming very soon.
