NAT DUNN signed a publishing deal with Mushroom when she was just 16 years old.    
A decade of growing up in public has seen Nat play all over the world while discovering and defining a sound that is truly hers. Nat is best known for her vocal chops but the last couple of years has seen her develop into a song-writer of substance and produce a sound that is unparalleled in the Female soloist category, which she affectionately calls “Rock n Soul”.
Her voice is best known from her collaboration with Aussie hip hop legends Urthboy on their seminal hit “Ready To Go”.
NAT is launching her debut EP at Black Bear Lodge on Wednesday May 15th with The Starry Field (Ex The Middle East) and RESPECT DJ’s providing support on the night.
Nat is a prominent fixture on the Brisbane music scene and also a founding member, and host of Brisbane’s singer songwriter forum ‘The Round’. This is a project she is very passionate about which regularly hosts some of the country’s biggest artists.

Age may have tamed the 2000 or so PiL fans that filled the Hi-Fi bar in Brisbane last night, but it hasn’t tamed John Lydon, PiL’s founder and front man. As soon as John hit the stage and opened his mouth, it was clear that immense energy flows loud and strong from this man. With slightly eerie vocal tones and his head tilted back, John summonsed his voice and cast it out over the crowd getting us ready for the ride ahead. Almost like a call to prayer, with the opening song This Is PiL. He quickly and gracefully dealt with Thatcher’s passing during this song by singing “I wish no one any evil… goodbye Maggie” which inspired cheering from the crowd.
