Tour News: Fear Factory Australian tour announced!

FEAR FACTORY’s ‘Demanufacture’ is “a landmark of ’90s metal that defied categorisation and remains a touchstone of the genre. “ – Kerrang!

Metallica’s Black album may have set the marker for highest selling metal album on the 90’s, but only 1 album can lay claim to being the decade’s most innovative and revolutionary: FEAR FACTORY’s ‘Demanufacture’.

Metal Hammer recently exclaimed “’Demanufature’ was so far ahead of its time that bands are still failing to rip it off convincingly today, Fear Factory’s ultra-precise extreme metal attack dragged metal into the future.”

Single Review: Tigertown – ‘What You Came Here For’

Review by Natalie Salvo
On his most recent tour Bob Evans slapped his head and practically called himself crazy for allowing such a young, talented and attractive band open for him. They were Sydneysiders, Tigertown. And for those that don’t know, they’re a quintet of family members and couples that are like Fleetwood Mac but only if you like your pop music with a little less romantic confusion.

The band are a thoroughly consistent one as new single, What You Came Here For proves. The latest track from their forthcoming as yet unnamed third EP is a continuation of the ideas and sounds that impressed fans on their previous releases, Before The Morning and their eponymous debut.

Buried In Verona announce “Notorious: Reloaded”

After spending the past 12 months touring heavily around the globe Buried In Verona will be releasing the deluxe version of their 2012 album “Notorious”. Available Friday 14 June via UNFD, “Notorious: Reloaded” will include the original album, B-Sides, a brand new DVD, revamped artwork and a new never released before single.

The new track “I Am Hate” was recorded while on tour, and is a reaction to the love/hate relationship that Buried In Verona has developed with the hardcore and metal scenes in the past year. While their fanbase has grown considerably, the band has had its share of haters – something they address in the best way they know how – with a bunch of killer riffs, a massive breakdown, a hooky chorus and a big middle finger. “I Am Hate” will be released in June and fans are advised to keep an ear out for news.
