Australian band Little Scout has completed work on their second record, Are You Life, due out in September 2013. Self-produced and recorded at various locations in their hometown of Brisbane, the record reflects the more muscular, distorted sounds that the band has developed in their live show sinc e the release of their critically acclaimed debut, Take Your Light (2011).
In the first three weeks of release (and in some cases, before) Ngaiire’s Lamentations has been announced as feature album on Sydney’s Eastside Radio and 2SER FM, South Australia’s Radio Adelaide, Melbourne’s 3RRR, PBS and SYN, DIG Australia, 2 BOB Radio and Radio Goolgarri, as well as landing feature album prominence on AIR, and garnering on-air support from triple j. Now, the Sydney via Papua New Guinea artist announces the album tour proper, expanding on her previous two single tours; riding a wave of support for her brilliant debut album.
