Zero Through Nine present ‘Love is Rare’, the first track to be taken from the upcoming collaborative EP from Tom Day and Monsoonsiren. ‘Love is Rare’, the opening song from the EP, is a triumphant example of Tom’s more ambient productions, as well as Nathan’s (Monsoonsiren) soaring falsetto, which serve as the building blocks for their collaborations.

Zero Through Nine is also very excited to finally share the artwork for the Tom Day and Monsoonsiren EP. Created by Melbourne artist and designer Wilba Simpson, the piece highlights the beauty of nature placed within an urban setting.

PhD Chemistry student by day, world class ambient escapist by night, Tom Day has spent the last few years evading study in the wee hours of the morning to create emotive and consuming electronica. With well over one million youtube hits in the last year, Zero Through Nine is proud to announce the release of Tom’s first material for 2013.

For this EP, Tom has employed the help of vocalist Nathan Menon, from Bengaluru, India, otherwise known as Monsoonsiren. The 19 year-old’s falsetto-driven experimental singing style makes him the perfect collaborator for the release.
The Tom Day & Monsoonsiren EP will feature 4 original tracks with the limited 12” vinyl exclusively featuring remixes from Berlin based electronica acts Kyson & Essåy.
