Five-piece punk-rock band from Orange NSW, The Godfrey Turner Overdrive (GTO) formed for the sheer enjoyment of creating energy and art.

Big gritty riffs plunge into chasms of ambience then power their way out again. Listeners will come across a range of characters throughout the songs… and go on a little walk with them.

Live, GTO play with an uncompromising and honest physical intensity. The next gig is never assured in the country, so GTO always play like it’s their last.

Their shows have built a strong following over their eight month existence. People seem to be drawn to the excitement of seeing a band give it a nudge. There is the sense that GTO are out to destroy posers.
GTO’s debut recording ‘TV|EP’ has been met with enthusiasm and praise. The five track EP highlights the bands ability to seamlessly combine contrasting punk-rock riffs and ambient space-outs.
