THE SMITH STREET BAND – those party-starting prodigies from Melbourne are embarking on their longest Aussie tour to date next week; the aptly named ‘Young Drunks’ tour. Following their much-loved second album ‘Sunshine & Technology’ and current single ‘Young Drunk’, plus supports with Against Me! (USA) and a slot on the Melbourne Big Day Out, The Smith Street Band are in fine, verbose and exciting form, ready for anything and keen (as always) to play for and meet as many people as humanly possible.
Joining the TSSB upstarts are shape-shifting US DIY legends Bomb the Music Industry (last tour ever!) and Melbourne punk-dub-ska troublemakers The Bennies. You should join in too, for some fist-in-the-air, arm-around-your-mate sing-alongs and good summer times all round.
