After announcing their return to the live circuit with a riveting performance at the Old Museum in Brisbane only weeks ago, The Medics are now set to embark on their first headline tour to date. Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne will be lucky enough to welcome The Medics’ enthralling live show and be the first to hear new material off their forthcoming album.

Whether it’s on stage or on record, The Medics are truly something to behold. An exhilarating blur of passion and movement, the band bring an all-too-rare sense of urgency to their music that’s underpinned their emergence as one of the country’s most genuinely exciting new bands.

With an impressive reputation surrounding their performances, it’s a surprise that they are only stepping out for their first headline tour now. Don’t get used to it though, as headline shows will be few and far between for the now-Brisbane based four-piece, with 2011 set to be one of their busiest yet. Their upcoming east coast dates are a rare opportunity to see The Medics play their full live show.

A digital release featuring tracks ‘Rust’ and ‘Beggars’ will be available surrounding the tour to whet appetites for the album to come.
