WOLFMOTHER ANNOUNCED AS SPECIAL GUESTS ON AC/DC BLACK ICE AUSTRALIAN TOUR – FEBRUARY/MARCH 2010 AC/DC the greatest rock and roll band on the planet, who have sold over 200 million records worldwide, return home to Australia in February 2010 as part of the Black Ice World Tour.

And IMC are beyond ecstatic to announce that their very own WOLFMOTHER will be joining AC/DC taking the role of special guests for this mamoth tour.

Having recently completing the major task of performing to 120,000 people at both the Sydney & Melbourne massive Sound Relief benefit concerts, Wolfmother are currently holed up in a studio in Los Angeles recording the follow up to their monumental Grammy & ARIA winning album – with the working title being, ‘Cosmic Egg’. With famed UK producer, Alan Moulder at the helm, Wolfmother‘s sophomore album will be a magnificent return to the epic sounds that have been so universally acclaimed.’

Wolfmother stepped out of the studio last Friday to play a show amongst he masses (& an odd consortium of stuffed wildlife) at the Los Angeles Natural History Museum. There they ripped through a repetoir of songs old and new to an LA crowd that’s been starved of Wolfmother in recent times – & in a show that saw the new lineup perform for the first time in the states.

Now whilst we all wait for the impending release of Wolfmother‘s new album, they will be joining the lenendary and iconic AC/DC for their first Australian tour since January 2001 which will – without any question – be one of the most spectacular rock shows ever staged in this country.
