Vulture Circus will be playing their 2nd headlining show in Brisbane at The Black Bear Lodge (Brisbane) on January the 9th 2016 supported by PYNES and Big Dead.

Off the back of playing shows in 2015 with the likes of Self Defense Family, and Sparskpitter and also impressing many at Jungle Love Festival, the band is excited to kick off 2016 with a great show.

Vulture Circus is a 6-piece band from Brisbane. Tying together elements of post rock, math rock and slow-core influences – the band creates a unique blend of moody and emotively articulated music. The live set up includes Anthony Lawrence (drums), Chris Langenberg (guitar/vocals), Fionn Richards (glockenspiel/synth/percussion), Jacob Warren (bass), James Eyre Walker (guitar/vocals). All together Vulture Circus creates a dynamic and evocative sound.

PYNES is an exciting new band on the rise in Brisbane. The 3-piece shares members from bands such as Little Scout, Mr Maps, re:enactment and Jono Boulet. The band creates a pleasing mix of shoegaze, dream pop and post rock.

Cameron from Big Dead will be performing a solo set on the night. His band is known for playing their own blend of sleepy, jazz-infused rock music – and are a great inclusion to the lineup.
