Villainy blast into Australia with “Alligator Skin Tour”

Villainy are bringing their no holds barred rock to Australia for the first time. The New Zealand rock quartet are launching their first single in Oz, “Alligator Skin” with a tour including showcases at BigSound and supports for established Australian rock’n’rollers Kingswood and swamp rocker Jackson Firebird.

“Alligator Skin” from the forthcoming Mode. Set. Clear. was recorded with Melbourne-based producer Tom Larkin (Shihad, King Cannons, Calling All Cars) and has been number 1 on the Radioscope New Zealand Rock Charts.

Their stellar live reputation earned them two arena support slots for Incubus just months after their first shows and the band has since supported The Offspring, Billy Talent and played a coveted late afternoon slot at the annual Homegrown Festival in the NZ’s capital city Wellington. In March and April of 2013 Villainy completed their first headline national tour playing to rapturouscrowds from one end of the country to the next.

With so many successes domestically the band are now looking to spread the message further, beginning with a foray into Australia in mid-late 2013 before they start work on their sophomore album in 2014.
