Brisbane duo Unlikely Superheroes are set to launch their first EP, Shooting Doves. Formed early 2008, the duo have been playing many local Brisbane venues throughout the last 3 years. The duo, comprised of Riley Nottingham and Emma Walton, will be performing their 7 track EP with a full band. The EP has so far been well received; ‘Miss You’ having already been picked up by US record label Deep South.

Unlikely Superheroes will be supported by a rich blend of local, independent artists such as Eyes of Azure, Stephen Denham, Eli Cavanagh, Foxes, Zander Hulme and Kitsunegari.

The launch will be taking place on February 19th 2011 at The Tank Hotel, located on 371 Queen Street, Brisbane. Doors open at 7:30pm, entry $10. This event is 18+.
