Regular John are inviting you to take a trip when they bring their Strange Flowers to life this September.
Strange Flowers is the second album from the Sydney based four piece. The follow up to 2009s ARIA nominated The Peaceful Atom is a Bomb is out now!
With the intoxicating sweetness of spring unfolding across Australia, the timing for a tour couldn’t be more perfect.
First single, Slume has been weaving its magic across the airwaves, being added to JJJ, landing the #5 most added Alternative track to National Radio and hitting top 10 in the AIRIT charts.
The stunning video has already received praise from triple j’s Richard Kingsmill and others for its one-take simplicity and a raw, naked performance from singer Ryan Adamson.
Reflecting on the success of Slume, the band has been forced to quote from Bachman Turner Overdrive. All they can say is: you ain’t seen nothing yet.
The Strange Flowers Spring Tour kicks off September 21st with the band promising to treat audiences to a psychedelic journey through heartbroken melodies, fuzzed out guitars, kraut inspired jams and the cosmic wall of sound for which Regular John are fast becoming known for.
