The Never Ever announce “In Or Out” – The Cinema Tour

The Never EverThe Never Ever will host a unique live experience to celebrate the release of their new single “In Or Out” (available digitally with a bonus acoustic version of the track on January __ 2014) which is featured on the band’s third EP “Ghosts and Ghouls” (out now).

“These shows are going to be really special,” says singer Dylan Nash.

The five-piece who hail from Sydney’s Sutherland Shire will launch the single in centrally located movie cinemas in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne on February 21, 22 and 23 respectively. The launch will combine an intimate acoustic performance with the exclusive big screen premiere of the band’s music video. The shows will also feature an exclusive behind the scenes documentary that will never be seen again as well as a special Q&A session with the band.

“We’ve been working hard on the fine details of the experience and I think it’s going to throw us out of our comfort zone… in a good way” says Dylan.

With three EP’s under their belt and described by Sydney’s Daily Telegraph as “one of the bands fuelling the explosion of the teen music market in Australia”, there has been no slowing down for the band since their formation in 2010. The band have previously supported Simple Plan, Yellowcard and We The Kings and most recently have been made an addition to this year’s Sydney Big Day Out. The Never Ever is destined to have a huge year ahead.

The first release for the band this year, In Or Out was recorded in New York by renowned multi-platinum music producer Shep Goodman (Forever The Sickest Kids, Mandy Moore), Dylan wrote most of the song on the band’s first night in the big apple after a stay in Times Square. “I felt completely at home with the productive energy and sleepless reputation of the city and was inspired to reflect on how those characteristics applied to myself,” says Dylan. “The dialogue in the songs conversation is really one of my own inner dialogue and self-reflection”.

“I hope that our fans can use the scenario from the song and apply it to their own lives and situations. I believe that you can learn a lot about yourself through both self-reflexivity viewing yourself from another’s perspective”.

So, are you in or out? See you at the movies!
