THE GOOD SHIP is one of this planet’s truly fearless bands. Their cult following is expanding on the back of their hugely successful March tour of the US and Canada, encompassing SxSW and Canadian Music Week. They returned with their very own booking agent, Artists in Motion, already on the job for a return trip in early 2014 and to a partnership with Premier Artists for The Capital Offensive tour.

THE GOOD SHIP also entered into the world of theatre with their triumphant sold out “Seven Seas” production at the Brisbane’s Powerhouse. The “Seven Seas” experiment has also turned into an album. The songwriting process around the theatre production was inspired and cohesive and the songs are going to make up the backbone of the new album being recorded in June.

In true Shipper style, all eight mariners are back on the road bringing their Porno Country Folk Cabaret to the east coast capital cities for their Capital Offensive tour.

They are taking their brand new show over the top to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne throughout July and releasing their cover of The Rake Song by The Decemberists ahead of the tour as a download and a video clip to their ever-expanding crew of fans.

Throughout the tour, their home fronts will be at The Zoo in Brisbane on the 13th July, The Annandale in Sydney on the 20th July and The Evelyn in Melbourne on the 27th July and their trench mates bands like The Good China, The Mouldy Lovers, Tom West, His Merry Men, The Stiffys, The WooHoo Revue and more.
