Shadow Thieves CD launch ‘Space Between’ @ Hard Rock Cafe – Surfers Paradise – 27 Aug 2010

To coincide with the Shadow Thieves CD launch ‘Space Between’ @ Hard Rock Cafe, Surfers Paradise on the 27th August 2010, we have a few copies of the album up for grabs!… See below for details.

Shadow Thieves perform a fusion of rock, indie, progressive rock, roots, funk and atmospheric music on the first wave of the socialistic digital age. The band consists of four key members; Matt Buckley, Jack Letizia, Joey Green and Cass Wilson. The project began as ‘ENACIO’ in early 2006 after performing with other local Gold Coast bands. The word soon spread, and national agency ‘The Pushworth Group‘ began to book the band shows including supports with Spiderbait, The Angels (Angel City),

Shihad, You Am I, Grinspoon and more. The band was later discovered by Blue Tongue Management, and was included in the 2009 Big Day Out, Loud Fest and Caxton Street Festivals. Continue reading Shadow Thieves CD launch ‘Space Between’ @ Hard Rock Cafe – Surfers Paradise – 27 Aug 2010

Here Comes The Sunburys is the debut album from Brisbane’s freshest antidote to unlistenable radio.

As their name suggests, The Sunburys are a band with an appreciation of great moments in the history of rock and roll. Like Steve Marriott quitting the Small Faces to form Humble Pie. Having already done the rounds of Australian festivals, enjoyed high rotation radio and flaunted their chops on national television in previous bands, The Sunburys have taken a diversion. They are prepared to risk not being popular, for the sake of making music for people with soul and good taste. They don’t really give a toss about whether you approve of their haircuts. They do love the swagger of warranted attitude, but have little time for those who rank style above substance.
