Who What Where with The Little Stevies

Luscious three-part harmonies soaring above striking melodies and catchy guitar hooks is the sound of Melbourne pop-darlings The Little Stevies. Each song’s a story you’ll want to hear again, as the personalities of all the band members come shining through. Cheeky, charming, moving.

Check out The Little Stevies – ‘Feel It’ [Video Clip] which is the first single from the album Attention Shoppers, due for release March 4, 2011.

Who What Where with GOSSLING – Helen Croome

Having just finished a tour with Lior, it has been a busy year for GOSSLING, having already supported the likes of Lamb, The Whitlams, Jamie Cullum, Newton Faulkner, Whitley and Mark Scholtez in 2010. In addition Gossling impressed crowds at her own headlining shows in Melbourne and Sydney, all off the back of her EP “If You Can‟t Whistle‟. The impressive debut features the sublime “Days Are Over” which quickly became a regular feature on Triple J’s play list.

Who What Where with EVIL EDDIE

Evil Eddie releases his debut solo single, ‘Queensland’.
With the song already added to rotation on triple j, the video for ‘Queensland’ is also causing quite a stir around the country. Complete with Gold Coast Meter Maids, bananas, crocodiles, and everything else quintessentially Queensland, the video has (not surprisingly) racked up quite a bit of online exposure, and was featured as Rage’s Indie Clip of the Week

Who What Where with Josh Berry of LACEY

“When you listen to ‘ROPES’, the debut EP from Perth natives LACEY, one of the first things you’ll notice is the band’s incredible penchant for writing sobering, incisive lyrics, phrased perfectly in the sweetest pop melodies. Their rhythms are tight and infections and their tones, soothing. The end result is a sound that unintentionally seductive, but defiantly addictive…” LACEY

Who What Where with Tim Price of TRANSVAAL DIAMOND SYNDICATE

“Transvaal Diamond Syndicate have honed their craft. They have found their market. They have forged their trade routes in the industry. They are the smugglers of fine dirty, foot-stompin’, hard hittin’ blues rock. Their black market tunes come from a place of sweat, tears, blood and hardship – love lost, tribulations endured… rough, raw and unclean…” TRANSVAAL DIAMOND SYNDICATE – Facebook

Who What Where with Tim Kent of Los Capitanes

“Los Capitanes is a controversial and turbulent new-age love story; like Sid and Nancy, Kurt and Courtney, or Bert and Ernie. Kent describes the band as ‘a sexless marriage, except with heaps of sex.’ Essentially, they are the sonic equivalent of the best, loudest, and most irresponsible and enthusiastic sex you can imagine…” Los Capitanes – Facebook

Who What Where with Owen Penglis of Straight Arrows

Straight Arrows formed almost 3 years ago in a Sydney wasteland. Initially finding trouble and frustration with regular venue operation, Straight Arrows began a 4 month residency in a small space above notorious (and now shut-down) gay bar The Newtown Hotel that culminatined in the release of their debut 7” record.
