LMFAO confirmed to support The Black Eyed Peas Australian tour – October 2009

lmfao   The Frontier Touring Company confirms that LMFAO will support The Black Eyed Peas during their forthcoming The E.N.D. World Tour when it hits Australia and New Zealand this October.

An electro-hop duo from California, LMFAO – made up of DJ/rappers Redfoo and Sky Blu – are not your typical band. Named following an iChat conversation with Sky Blu’s techno-savvy grandmother, LMFAO have shown little respect for convention, forging their own path in the music world.

And more it will be as The Used perform for all ages fans in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney this November, performing songs from their new release Artwork.

The Used have built their reputation on explosive live performances, and their last Australian sojourns didn’t buck the trend. Fans were left exhilarated.

  Pearl Jam announced today that they will play a series of outdoor shows in November in Australia and New Zealand, in support of their new album, Backspacer.

Pearl Jam will be returning to Australia for the first time in 3 years, bringing with them their old touring mates, Ben Harper and Relentless7 and Liam Finn, to play for one night only in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland and Christchurch. Tickets for all shows go on sale on Monday 17 August.

Bringing her unstoppable Minnelli magic to Australia, Liza will tour nationally during October in an unmatchable concert performance. Based on her current hit Broadway show “Liza’s At The Palace”, the evening will feature an incomparable Minnelli songfest including many of her personal favourites and signature hits.

Along with a twelve-piece orchestra led by conductor/drummer Michael Berkowitz and pianist/musical supervisor Billy Stritch,the performance will feature many of Liza’s showstoppers such as “Cabaret”, “Maybe This Time” and “Theme From New York, New York” – all written especially for her by the legendary Broadway song writing partnership of John Kander and Fred Ebb.
