Karnivool – The THEMATA DECADE Tour – May 2015 **More Shows Added**

Karnivool
10 years ago an unknown band from Perth, Western Australia pooled their very limited resources and questionable facial hair, and got to work on their debut album. Recorded in various spaces, in various ways, with a slightly varying line-up, they borrowed gear, they borrowed money, they borrowed space and they used some tunings that perhaps haven’t been heard again. The band were KARNIVOOL and the album that had so much blood, sweat, tears (and god knows what else) expended on it in those early hours was THEMATA.

NOFX Announce Australian Tour – November 2014 – Supports Announced

nofx

NOFX formed in Los Angeles back in 1983, a helluva year for new bands and one that gave birth to Alcatrazz, Trixter, White Lion, and any number of bands that are completely defunct and irrelevant in this day and age. That alone says something about NOFX‘s enduring popularity. Maybe they lasted this long because they were forged in the same fiery furnaces of the L.A. hardcore scene that gave us Bad Religion, Suicidal Tendencies, Germs and Descendents. NOFX sharpened their teeth in that tumultuous talent pool until they joined forces with Epitaph in 1989 and went on to release a string of crucial punk records. Their first major breakthrough came in the form of 1990’s Ribbed, still a fan favorite, followed up by now-classics White Trash, Two Heebs and a Bean and Punk in Drublic, the latter selling well over a million copies. That was a wildly successful decade for NOFX as the band popularized the Warped Tour and was the flagship band for the skate/surf/snow culture of the 1990’s.

Propagandhi “You Call That A Knife?” Australian Tour 2014 – Supports Announced

propTouring Australia for the first time since the brutal Failed States album was released in 2012, Propagandhi bring their celebrated and feared combination of punk rock and melodic hardcore to ten shows in nine cities this May/June!

Their first release on Epitaph Records, Failed States willfully careens between brazen metallic tendencies and the ragged punk rock roots of Propagandhi’s earlier work, further raising the lyrical and musical bar set by their critically-acclaimed 2009 release, Supporting Cast(e). One of the band’s most forward thinking and musically varied albums to date, Failed States reaffirms the Canadian four piece as not only one of the most consistently innovative bands musically, but as a damning voice in socio-political affairs.
