Brisbane-reared, Brooklyn-based noise merchants Violent Soho are back in Australia this month, playing long awaited homecoming dates to celebrate the release of their self titled new album.
Lead single ‘Jesus Stole My Girlfriend’ has won some solid support on Australian radio and has reached the Billboard Top 40 rock songs chart and the Canadian Top 20 airplay chart. Violent Soho’s already famed, explosive live shows have been further honed on back to back US & UK tours with Dinosaur Jr, Built to Spill, AFI and The Bronx. If these shows weren’t already going to be loud enough, Scul Hazzards and Butcher Birds will be joining the guys on all dates, which is set to make them some of the most talked about and raucous in 2010. |
