We’ve revamped, refreshed, recharged, renovated and are ready to roll out the musical movers and shakers with an all Australian hip hop line-up set to have the Big Top jumping.
Lining up front and center & fresh from nailing down the highest ranked hip hop single at number 12 on the Triple J Hottest 100, is hip-hop artist on the rise Drapht. Hailing from Perth, Drapht emerged onto the scene alongside fellow WA heavy hitters Downsyde and Fdel and has since established himself as an MC on the up having polished his on-stage antics alongside the likes of the Hilltop Hoods, Dilated Peoples and Koolism amongst others.

The Jezabels are pleased to announce a Sydney headline show at Oxford Art Factory in April, before taking the road for a national tour with Tegan & Sara in May. The band have wrapped up the summer in fine form with appearances at festivals including Field Day Sydney, Soundwave Melbourne and Playground Weekender since releasing their latest EP ‘She’s So Hard’ independently through MGM late last year. |
‘Hurt Me’, the EP’s first single, with it’s unmistakable striding drum grooves has been gathering momentum at radio through to TV and retail scoring iTunes Single Of The Week, Rage Indie Clip Of The Week and video playlist adds on Channel V & MTV. The EP has entered into the AIR 100% Indie Single Charts, it currently sits at #13.

Few bands can match the level of fan devotion heaped upon My Chemical Romance; and rightly so, as they have truly earned their status as one of the most exciting bands of this generation. The fact that the devotion is returned in equal measure by the band makes it even more of a phenomenon. |
The Living End has announced a change of venue for the Brisbane date of their national ‘Raise The Alarm Tour’. The concert taking place in Brisbane on Friday May 1st will now take place at the Brisbane Riverstage, Gardens Point, City. All tickets previously purchased for the Big Top will be honoured at the Brisbane Riverstage concert. Originally announced at the Musgrave Park Big Top, the event had been advertised with the subject to council approvals line since announcement but the organisers of the event were notified yesterday by Brisbane Council that their permit for the Big Top show has been denied.
The Living End with special guests Gyroscope and Tame Impala will perform at the popular Riverstage on Friday May 1st.
A reminder to fans that this is the only Brisbane concert The Living End will be performing this year so it’s your last chance to see them live in this environment.
