Hardline Media Presents
The ULTIMATE TRIPLE BILL KILL
Australia are you ready? Well you better be well prepared because we have seen nothing like this before. A 3 pronged attack of darkened, deathly Swedish majesty, in the form of AT THE GATES, THE HAUNTED and WITCHERY are headed our way for a hellishly heavy Scandinavian assault for what is a possibly once in a lifetime tour.
THE DAMNED are the greatest surviving British punk band, bar none, still firing on all cylinders and breaking all the rules. This most spiritually chaotic of all punk groups have never been away, never surrendered their ideals, always forged onwards and when Lemmy of Motörhead famously referred to them as “the only real punk band” you know they are the real deal. Back for another glorious lap around North Byron Parklands, Splendour in the Grass never fails to act as the exploding Supernova star, scattering dazzling sideshows all over Australian venues for a few sweet weeks in July every year. Continue reading Splendour in the Grass Sideshows 2019→
It’s undeniable that WAAX front woman Maz De Vita is one of the most awe-inspiring and intimidating live performers in Australia (and after the band’s recent pummelling of SXSW – we can now comfortably say she kicks the world’s arse too). Now she has a video that perfectly captures the bloody red raw intensity and emotion she brings to her music in the form of the thrilling new video for WAAX’s latest single, ‘FU.’ Continue reading WAAX – ‘FU’ (Official Video)→
VOYAGER’S sensationally anthemic songs offer huge soundscapes, pop and prog sensibilities with catchy and thought-inducing instrumentals. Rhiannon Giddens’ latest album there is no Other, recorded with Italian multi-instrumentalist Francesco Turrisi, is set for May 3 release on Nonesuch Records. Produced by Joe Henry and tracked over an intensely productive five day period in Dublin, Ireland, there is no Other is at once a condemnation of “othering” and a celebration of the spread of ideas, connectivity, and shared experience. Karnivool, Fidelity Corporation & Billions Australia are very happy to announce The Praxis Tour 2019.
Praxis definition: the process of using a theory or something that you have learned in a practical way.
Karnivool was a sleeping giant in 2018, but the beast stirred in January of this year with a short run of dates in WA and SA leading into a headlining slot at the Unify Gathering festival in regional VIC. This jaunt was so well received (all shows sold out) and more importantly so much damn fun for the band that it only seems fair that they should visit the rest of Australia and remind their fans how unique the atmosphere is in the temple of Vool – the band were a little overwhelmed by how many messages they got from other cities in Australia asking for a visit – it had been awhile!
