Stonefield have been busy. Very busy. Keeping the momentum going, the band will play a string of special shows through March and April – your last chance to check them out before they travel to the UK to rock the Glastonbury and Great Escape Festivals.

The shows include a few festivals (Adelaide Fringe Festival, Push Over Festival, Sounds Loud Festival, Moomba, Apollo Bay Music Festival) and pub shows in Sydney and Melbourne with Canadian outfit The Besnard Lakes. The band also play at Newcastle University on March 11 and headline shows at Sydney’s Beach Road Hotel on March 9 and Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club on April 1.

The four sisters from the Victorian Hills spent February tearing the roof off Melbourne’s iconic venue The Tote during a residency with Immigrant Union (Brent DeBoer of The Dandy Warhols’ new Australian-based band). In between they have made time to write new material; songs that keep to their 70’s inspired rock and roll sound, but which prove Stonefield to be an extremely talented and hard hitting act.

Stonefield have been turning heads since performing late last year at Perth’s One Movement Festival and taking out triple j’s Unearthed High competition. The band continues to climb the radio airwaves with their tracks ‘Through The Clover’ and ‘Foreign Lover’.

Stonefield’s debut EP ‘Through The Clover’ is available in stores and online now through Shock Records.
