Globally acclaimed Thai rockers SLOT MACHINE have launched their debut English-language album ‘Spin The World’ on the international stage, available for streaming and download in Australia now.

With six-time Grammy Award-winning producer Steve Lillywhite (U2, The Rolling Stones, The Killers, 30 Seconds to Mars) at the helm, ‘Spin The World’ is Slot Machine’s opus; It’s a collection of songs that showcase the band’s progressive songwriting, soaring vocals and expansive international influence. According to Billboard Thailand, ‘Spin The World’ “… maintains Slot Machine’s uniqueness …” while displaying “…the band’s technical growth and maturity”.

Multi award-winners in their native Thailand, Slot Machine have taken out Album of the Year and Best Group gongs at the 2012 Season Awards, and were nominated for Best South East Asian Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2013 and ‘14. They shared the stage with Jason Mraz in 2013 in Yangon, Myanmar, playing to over 70,000 people as part of the MTV Exit Live In Myanmar charity concert, raising awareness for human trafficking. The band has clocked up over 2 million Facebook fans, over 130 million combined views on YouTube (close to 82.5 million for their song ‘Kloem’ alone), and they consistently top the Asian music charts.

Twelve years after their inception, the Bangkok-based four-piece is pushing new boundaries, following up their five hugely successful Thai-language albums with ‘Spin The World’; A 10-track studio release, completely in English. With major festival appearances on the cards for July, including performances at Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival, Taipei’s Super Slippa and Valley Rock Festival in Korea, Slot Machine are showing no signs of slowing down.
