One of Australia’s most treasured festivals, Secret Garden, celebrates its eighth birthday in 2016 running over two whole days from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 February. An outdoor summer celebration synonymous with glitter, tunes and fancy dress, Secret Garden is held amongst the beautiful New South Wales wilderness on a farm transformed into dance floors and hand-crafted worlds to lose yourself in.

Since announcing its expansion to a full two days and nights, we’ve been talking to our devoted Gardeners and it’s become apparent that not all of them can skip work on a Friday, and a Secret Garden without all our favourite Gardeners just wouldn’t be the same. So, due to popular demand, a limited release of one-day tickets will be on sale from 8am AEDT this Friday 27 November from secretgardenfestival.oztix.com.au

If any two-day ticketholders need to swap to a one-day ticket, they can do so at no extra charge, and receive a refund for the difference.

Year after year, Secret Garden sells out before the lineup has been announced, so snatch up those golden tickets before it’s too late – they are the key to an open-air party like no other, renowned for its vibrant and diverse musical lineup, show-stopping colour, imaginative fun and all kinds of inspired and eccentric entertainment.

Given this a day of good news announcements, why not share just a little more… In 2016, the farm will be home to 50 bands and DJs, 30 actors, dancers and comedians, 18 pop-up performances, 10 drag queens, 8 dance floors, 6 stages, 2 days of fancy dress, 1 very busy kissing booth and a whole lot more. 2016 is eight years in the making and it’s going to be our most vibrant celebration to date.

Secret Garden 2015 saw highlights including speed dating, disco with the drag queens of #CAMPQUEEN, the Secret Garden Olympics, and who can forget the Kissing Booth… And it goes without saying that our Gardeners are some of the best festival crowds going around – always prepared for the serious party vibes, dreamy adventures and crazy surprises that Secret Garden throws at them.

A little festival with a big heart, each year all profits from ticket and bar sales are donated to charity. Secret Garden has donated more than $200,000 to Oxfam, The Boys & Girls Brigade and the Sarah Hilt Foundation, so come on down, dress up with your mates and have a dance. It’s one hell of a festival and all for a good cause.
