Sans Parents – ‘Dead End’ EP Launch Shows – September 2016

After releasing a slew of critically-praised songs ‘Can’t Stop Moving’, ‘Coming Back To You’ and ‘Loose People’, Brisbane-based indie-pop quartet Sans Parents have returned with their latest single ‘Dead End’.

Lifted from their forthcoming debut EP (due August 2016), ‘Dead End’ harks back to the bands power-pop roots. Uplifting mellotron and boppy, harmonious vocals are balanced by britpop-esque tones that carry the song, with an end result of what feels like an amalgamation of Teenage Fanclub and The Shins.

The bands previous singles have all received strong support via worldwide blogs and radio, with ‘Loose People’ added to full rotation on triple j and peaking at #1 and #5 on the AMRAP metro and regional charts respectively. Their latest effort ‘Can’t Stop Moving’ also received a spot rotation add on triple j.

To celebrate the release of ‘Dead End’, the band will be traversing the East Coast with three performances taking place in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and releasing an accompanying video in the coming weeks.
