Belltalk began as two friends jamming in their breaks between classes at uni. After playing a few originals gigs, Caitlin and Elizabeth were joined by their drummer friend Hamish, and began playing around Brisbane. The band took on a new direction with bassist Dave in late 2012, from which their present project emerged: Belltalk.

Belltalk’s lyrics are sharp and evocative. They have a compelling and multifaceted sound, both live and recorded, which stems from their diverse musical tastes. They are currently recording an EP which is due to be released later this year.
