IED is the follow up release to Pataphysics’ 2012 debut album Subversive. Recorded, mixed and produced by front man, vocalist and trumpet player Pat Marks (aka Pataphysics) at his 9 Gates studio in Melbourne.

Breathe In is the lead single from Pataphysics IED EP. Breathe In serves as a perfect introduction to the vibe of the EP: plenty of groove and smooth melodies with frequent nods to the music of soul and jazz. Lyrically, Marks jumps straight into displaying his passionate political beliefs. The track features the smooth styling vocals of Project nRt, who also shot and directed the tracks film clip. The clip gives viewers a taste of the multi-tasker’s instrumental skills and a glimpse into Pataphysics’ diverse live show. One of the highlights of the clip is not just Diego Villalta incredible guitar playing, but also his live painting of a mural in this clip.
