SUPPORTING LISSIE AHEAD OF ‘RAIDERS’ TOUR

Fresh from smashing stages across the country with the bubbly dance machine that is Darwin Deez, precocious young songwriter Owl Eyes has endeared herself to yet another international success story – American folk songstress Lissie. Currently playing the supporting role herself, Lissie has managed to squeeze in a run of headline dates between sold-out shows with Washington. And opening for Lissie in Melbourne will be none other than Owl Eyes.

The support show will be a nice warm-up for Owl Eyes as she embarks on a nine-date national tour the very next day to launch new single ‘Raiders’. The tour will take her far and wide across the country as more and more fans warm to Owl Eyes’ enveloping atmospheric pop.

Upon returning home, Owl Eyes will be putting the finishing touches on her forthcoming second EP, also called Raiders. The Jan Skubiszewski-produced release is the follow-up to 2010’s Faces and is certain to launch Owl Eyes further into the stratosphere. Watch this space as news of the Raiders EP will be released shortly.
