FRIDAY FEBRUARY 7, 2013 – Live Nation has announced a second Sydney performance by MADELEINE PEYROUX when the celebrated award-winning jazz singer, songwriter and guitarist begins her Australian tour later
Joined on stage by her band, plus a four-piece string section under the direction of first violinist Hiroko Taguchi, the concerts will showcase what Madeleine Peyroux is best known for: reinterpreting songs with an emotion and depth that can not help but touch the soul, as she performs a selection of well-known songs from her catalogue in addition to those from her latest album ‘The Blue Room’.
Tickets for this second and final Sydney show will go on sale at 9am, Wednesday February 12.

MADELEINE PEYROUX – celebrated award-winning jazz singer, songwriter and guitarist – is set to bring her inspired collection of songs, including those from her latest album ‘The Blue Room’, to Australian audiences in 2014.
The Brooklyn and Paris-bred artist, with a New Orleans pedigree, Madeleine’s soulfully piercing voice and eclectic musical mix makes for magnificent storytelling. Infusing her own vision and reinterpretation of the songs with modern sensibility, she brings elements of jazz, country and blues into each song, while evoking a depth of emotion and sound of such legends as Billie Holiday, Patsy Cline, Édith Piaf, and Bob Dylan.
