After successfully releasing his latest single ‘Mexico’, Byron Bay based Alternative/Folk songsmith Luke Morris has just announced a limited run of East Coast tour dates, and is gearing up for an appearance at the 2014 Splendour in the Grass.

‘Mexico’ encapsulates the unique brand of heartfelt Alternative Folk that is Luke Morris.

Luke’s passion for songwriting developed whilst living abroad with his family in Europe, conjuring inspiration from the unfamiliar countryside, and the sounds of Bob Dylan, Jeff Buckley, Bon Iver and Nick Drake.

Recently, Luke Morris has teamed up with producer Jordan Power (Xavier Rudd, Angus Stone) to record his debut album ‘Sugarcane Road’, which tells tales of loss, love and experience, whilst demonstrating Luke’s raw sound.

Luke Morris has just released the first single ‘Mexico’, taken from debut album ‘Sugarcane Road’, due out in late 2014.
