LITTLE MAY – National Tour – May 2016

Soon to set off on their mammoth Australia-wide tour, indie innovators Little May are today announcing 18-year-old prodigy and triple j darling, E^ST as their support act this May. She will be joined by yet-to-be-announced local openers in each city. This news comes with the unveiling of the winner of Little May’s #artforthecompany tour poster competition, Lauren Vingillis from Sydney, who has won a bunch of prizes and will have her artwork distributed nationally.

Singer/songwriter E^ST gained serious attention from triple j two years ago for her single Old Age, and has since released the gorgeous ‘The Alley’ EP, and caused nation-wide jaw dropping with her cover of The Verve’s Bitter Sweet Symphony for triple j’s Like A Version.

Little May’s #artforthecompany competition extended the band’s love of fostering creatives in the Australian arts scene, and after an overwhelming response they are proud to announce that the winner is design blogger, graphic designer and typographer Lauren Vingillis.

Little May released their Aaron Dessner (The National) produced debut album ‘For the Company’ late last year which landed them the FBi ‘Album of the Week’, triple j Feature Album, and saw them sellout shows across France, Germany, the US, UK and Australia. Currently sitting over 20 million Spotify streams, Little May have topped the Hype Machine charts, had airplay across BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, KCRW and triple j.

Renowned for their engaging, stirring and stunning live shows, Little May have supported the likes of Cloud Control, Angus and Julia Stone, Cold War Kids and Rodriguez. Their unique performances have been experienced at Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival, Bonnaroo, Gentlemen of The Road, The Great Escape and CMJ where they were named one of the ’11 Breakout Acts of CMJ’.
