Following the release of her ‘Mean Old Clock’ EP and some highly sought after tour supports in 2009 (including Paul Dempsey, Joshua Radin and Tim Finn) Melbourne based singer songwriter Leena will be showcasing her talent throughout February with Carus Thompson, as well as her first headlining show in Sydney. Leena has spent the Summer writing songs for her new EP, due to be recorded in February.

It will be the follow up to the warm and honest songs on the ‘Mean Old Clock’ EP – which were the result of sessions with three different but esteemed producers: ARIA-winner Josh Pyke, Joe Chiccarelli (The Shins, Tori Amos, My Morning Jacket), and Mike Daly (Whiskeytown).

Leena began 2010 with an appearance at the Peats Ridge: Sustainable Arts & Music Festival over New Years, joining the line up with the likes of Lamb, Sarah Blasko, The Panics, Passenger, Bertie Blackman and Jack Ladder, to name just a few.
