Beetle Bar presents the second installment of the newly reinstated Ladybugs series on Saturday 17th May, showcasing women in Brisbane music.

Brisbane has long been known for its thriving and inclusive music scene. By initiating this regular showcase, a different female musician is invited to curate the event and take the night in whatever direction she feels inspired to, without having to exclude the great pool of male talent that’s ever abundant locally as well.

This particular event features some of Brisbane’s most kick-ass lady artists paired up (many for the first time) playing covers, originals and maybe something never heard before. You’ll spot members of We All Want To, HITS, Some Jerks, Gazoonga Attack, Marville, Bottlecock, Main Street Brats and Pretty Boys, plus more! Curated by Tamara Dawn, this showcase of the cream of Brisbane’s lady crop is sure to rock your jocks.
