Hot Little Hands: East Coast Tour 14-28 August 2009

Hot Little Hands   Stepping off the plane from their New Zealand Tour, Melbourne’s Hot Little Hands will play four dates in Australia during August including Sydney (14 August – Spectrum), Brisbane (22nd Aug – Troubadour), Melbourne (27 August – Northcote Social Club) and Adelaide (28 Aug – Rocket Bar), with special guests The Tutts (NZ)

Following the release last year of their highly acclaimed debut album ‘Dynamite In Black & White’ comes their title track and third single Dynamite In Black & White. The band has taken to the road to support the single and bring East Coast punters some good ol’ times.

The band, who are no strangers to success, have completed two east coast tours with Claire Bowditch & Plug In City, as well as supported the likes of Born Ruffians, Who Made Who, Sparkadia, Kid Confucius, Midnight Juggernaughts, Gotye, Paul Kelly, British India, Little Red, Art of Fighting, Dan Kelly & The Alpha Males, Lost Valentinos, just to name a few.

Hot Little Hands come armed with two synthesizers, a Wurlitzer, and other knick-knacks! Tim, James, Royce, Raph and Brig – in order of height – make up the Melbourne five-piece and dazzle audiences with their mix of 80s revival, 50s electronic-voodoo-swamp-blues and 60s garage disco. Throw in some soul, electro, four part harmonies, funk, trumpet blasts, and pop, you’ve got yourself one hell of a party.

Dynamite In Black & White is available through Rubber Records.
