Hot Chocolate (UK) – 2014 Australian Tour Announced

Direct from London, Hot Chocolate, one of the most successful bands to come out of the ’70’s and they are still performing today to audiences worldwide who love their classic hits and distinctive sound. Hot Chocolate are returning to Australia by overwhelming demand in October 2014 – presented by Abstract Entertainment.

Last Year, Hot Chocolate toured Australia extensively garnering sell-outs and rave reviews. Recently they completed a major U.K Arena Tour with David Cassidy, Smokie and Leo Sayer – the feedback was outstanding.

Hot Chocolate consists of Founding Members Patrick Olive, who started with the band playing percussion and then moved on to bass guitar and vocals; Harvey Hinsley, original member and lead guitarist involved in song writing and record producing. He was responsible for all those amazing riffs heard in songs like “You Sexy Thing” and “Every 1’s A Winner”; and Drummer Tony Connor, who is the powerhouse of the group and his distinctive solid sound that is thought by many to be the foundation of this amazingly successful band. Kennie Simon, the lead singer replaced Errol Brown.

1970’s Australian pop sensation John Paul Young will join up with Hot Chocolate on selected tour dates, performing all of his greatest hits spanning his impressive 42-year career from “Love Is In The Air” to “Yesterday’s Hero”.
