Harry Potter – The Exhibition

The first and only Australian stop of Harry Potter™: The Exhibition is now open at the Powerhouse Museum, offering fans a first-hand look inside the famous wizard’s magical world and the opportunity to experience the amazing craftsmanship of hundreds of authentic costumes and props from the Harry Potter films.

These artefacts will be displayed in immersive settings inspired by the film sets, including the Great Hall, Hagrid’s hut and the Gryffindor™ common room. Fans will encounter iconic props and costumes including Harry’s original wand and glasses, costumes from Hogwarts™ Yule Ball, props from the most dramatic Quidditch™ matches, a study of Dobby™, the house elf and much more.

Along the way, visitors can enter the Quidditch area and toss a Quaffle, pull their own Mandrake in the Herbology vignette, tour a recreation of Hagrid’s hut, encounter Buckbeak™ the Hippogriff and look into the many eyes of a giant Acromantula spider.

Showcasing the supreme artistry and amazing craftsmanship that went into the making of the ever popular film series, Harry Potter™: The Exhibition is sure to spark curious minds and foster an excitement of discovery among visitors of all ages.
