DUETS (formerly known as Dueting it for the Kids) is a unique concert unlike anything else staged in Australia. It brings together the very best of the music industry in a concert of duets with proceeds going to support The Australian Children’s Music Foundation (ACMF). DUETS features:
Steve Balbi (Noiseworks) Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Mahalia Barnes, Suze DeMarchi (Baby Animals) Jeff Duff, Darren Percival, Diana Rouvas, Carmen Smith, Prinnie Stevens, Chris E Thomas, Christine Anu, Ray Beadle, Rachael Beck, David Campbell, Abby Dobson, Casey Donovan, Dave Faulkner (Hoodoo Gurus), Tim Finn, Tim Freedman, Mark Gable (Choirboys), Lara Goodridge, Angie Hart (Frente!), Barry Leef, Darryl & Harmony Lovegrove, Rob Mills, Mirusia, Sam Moran, James Morrison, Ian Moss, Shannon Noll, Doug Parkinson, Dale Ryder (Boom Crash Opera), Leo Sayer, Danielle Spencer, Don Spencer, Timomatic, Monica Trapaga, Jack Vidgen, Mark Vincent, Megan Washington and Mark Williams (Dragon).

The MC’s for the night will be Rob Mills and Ian “Dicko” Dickson with Paul Gray once again taking up the baton as Music Director.

Some of the special collaborations which have already been confirmed for this year include Megan Washington with Tim Finn, John Waters with Christine Anu, Ian Moss with James Morrison, Angie Hart with Dave Faulkner, Casey Donovan with Leo Sayer, Teddy Tahu Rhodes with Kate Ceberano and Prinnie Stevens with Mahalia Barnes, the results of which are sure to be spellbinding and with such an array of talent the evening is destined to be a magical one.

All funds raised at this event go towards music programs that the ACMF run for disadvantaged and Indigenous youth across Australia. More than 75% of public schools in Australia do not have the funds to provide a specialised music teacher. The ACMF passionately believe that no child should be deprived of a music education. It believes that this should be a right, not a privilege. Music is food for the soul and inspires imagination, creativity and brings joy, hope, self-esteem and significant social and intellectual benefits.
