In a remarkable feat, EMMA LOUISE has taken home a whopping three awards from the annual Queensland Music Awards (QMAs), held last night at the Tivoli in Brisbane. Currently on a promo trip in Italy where she has a Top 5 hit with ‘Jungle’, gongs were collected on her behalf for Album Of The Year (for her 2013 debut Vs Head Vs Heart), Export Achievement Award and The Courier Mail People’s Choice Award for Most Popular Female.
Emma will be emarking on the Pontoon Theatre Tour in September, her last tour for 2013 set to be the jewel in the 2013 crown of accolades which are now too many to mention – but highlights include a #12 ARIA debut, her release in the US through indie-royal, Frenchkiss, breaking the US iTunes top 100 albums charts, an assembly of top 40 spots across Europe and , of course, that bonafide platinum hit in Italy.
