New dates have been announced for the post-progressive art rock concert of the year – The Crimson ProjeKCt.
King Crimson members Adrian Belew, Tony Levin and Pat Mastelotto will be joined by the classically trained Fripp acolyte Markus Reuter plus Power Trio members Julie Slick and Tobias Ralph for three hours of unsurpassed musicianship and brutal power.

The John Butler Trio recently completed a quick stint of thrilling performances in capital cities selling out small capacity iconic venues around the country as they introduced new tunes and their new drummer, Grant Gerathy. With the trio’s sixth studio album ‘Flesh & Blood’ locked and loaded for a February 7th global release the band are pleased to announce a national tour, their first extensive Australian tour in 4 years. Tickets for the tour will go on sale Friday December 13th 2013.
The John Butler Trio’s ‘Flesh & Blood’ album tour will take in major capital cities and a host of regional centres throughout March and April 2014. Clutch have announced Melbourne heavy rock outfit Don Fernando as support for their Melbourne show at the Prince (SOLD OUT) and Sydney show at The Metro. While local hard hitters Brisbane The Black Water Fever and Heavy Roller will open proceedings at The Zoo (limited tickets available).
Towards the end of February Clutch will land in Australia for their first shows since the release of their tenth studio album Earth Rocker (2013), which has fast become the most successful album of the bands twenty four year career, featuring heavily in top ten albums of 2013 lists across the globe, including being the number one album in Metal Hammer UK’s top 50 albums of the year.

Brisbane’s Guards of May are celebrating the release of their new track Numbers with the release of a completely self-made film clip! It comes just one week ahead of their hometown launch show at Tempo Hotel alongside WA’s OPIA and Brisbane compatriots Soxiet X-Ray Record Club and House of Giants and a day ahead of the start of their tour.
Their latest track Numbers is a kinetic, melodic track that is awash with thumping bass lines, vigorous drum patterns and soaring vocal hooks. Those who did make it in were treated to one of the greatest sets of their career.
